SmartDV’s DisplayPort Automotive Extension Verification IP is a comprehensive solution for verifying automotive-grade functional safety and security in DisplayPort and embedded DisplayPort display systems. Fully compliant with the VESA DisplayPort Automotive Extension v1.1 specification and compatible with DisplayPort 2.1a and eDP 1.5a, it is the first open-standard-based VIP enabling verification of all four DP AE safety and security profiles targeting ISO 26262 ASIL-D functional safety and UN R155 and ISO 21434 cybersecurity requirements, covering source, bridge, and sink device verification for up to 16 display regions of interest across compressed, uncompressed, and Multi-Stream Transport configurations.

SmartDV’s DP AE VIP supports UVM, SystemVerilog, and Verilog, and integrates seamlessly into diverse verification environments. It is simulator-independent and compatible with all leading EDA simulators, providing flexibility across simulation platforms.
