SmartDV’s SAE J2716 (Single Edge Nibble Transmission) Sensor IP is a silicon-proven solution designed for transmitting sensor data in automotive environments. It supports unidirectional, high-resolution signal transmission to electronic control units (ECUs), ensuring accurate, low-latency communication in systems where noise immunity and timing precision are essential.

Designed for flexibility, the IP core is highly configurable to meet specific design requirements, supporting both ASIC and FPGA implementations while optimizing for area, power, and performance. SmartDV also offers ASIL-ready variants to meet ISO 26262 functional safety requirements, making this IP ideal for integration into safety-critical automotive sensor modules.
