SmartDV’s MIPI I3C Slave to AXI Bridge IP is a silicon-proven, high-performance debug and control access solution engineered for SoC designs requiring seamless connectivity between an external I3C master controller and an AMBA AXI-based on-chip interconnect. Fully compliant with MIPI I3C v1.2 and AMBA AXI4, it enables direct read and write access to the full AXI address space over the I3C two-wire interface, providing a standards-compliant, minimal-pin path for debug, bring-up, and peripheral control in high-performance SoC designs.

By bridging the I3C slave interface directly to the AXI bus fabric, it delivers a lightweight, low-pin-count alternative to dedicated debug infrastructure for accessing high-performance on-chip interconnects. Its support for In-Band Interrupts, Hot-Join, Dynamic Address Assignment, and the full HDR mode suite ensures complete I3C protocol compliance while the AXI4 bridge delivers full burst transfer and outstanding transaction support for comprehensive memory and register access from an I3C master.

Built for design flexibility and silicon efficiency, the IP core is highly configurable for both ASIC and FPGA implementations, with a strong focus on area optimization, power management, and peak performance.
