HDMI Source IP
Design IP
Overview

SmartDV’s HDMI Source IP Core enables seamless transmission of high-quality video and audio from digital platforms to HDMI-compliant displays. Fully compliant with the HDMI 2.1 specification, it supports advanced features such as 4K and 8K video output, variable refresh rates (VRR), dynamic HDR, and enhanced audio return channel (eARC), making it ideal for automotive infotainment systems, set-top boxes, media players, and high-performance display solutions.

Designed for flexibility, the IP core is highly configurable to meet specific design requirements, supporting both ASIC and FPGA implementations while optimizing for area, power, and performance. It integrates key features like HDCP 2.3 encryption, Audio/Video (A/V) packet generation, and Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), offering a complete solution for high-definition video transmission.
