SmartDV’s UFS (Universal Flash Storage) 4.x Device IP is a high-speed storage interface solution designed for flash memory controllers and embedded storage subsystems in mobile, automotive, and high-performance embedded systems. Fully compliant with JEDEC UFS 4.1 specifications, MIPI M-PHY v5.0, and MIPI UniPro v2.0 standards, it enables seamless, high-throughput communication with UFS 4.1-compatible host controllers at up to 23.2 Gbps per lane. Built to address the growing demands of modern storage subsystems, it delivers the performance, security, and reliability required by today’s most advanced SoC designs.

Beyond raw throughput, the UFS 4.x Device IP stands out for the depth of its device management capabilities. With support for up to 256 outstanding commands, Write Booster buffer resizing, Host Initiated Defragmentation, Fast Recovery Mode, and RPMB Authentication, it gives flash memory controller teams a feature-rich foundation that goes well beyond basic UFS compliance.
