SmartDV’s AHB to AXI Bridge IP is a silicon-proven, fully featured protocol bridge solution purpose-built for SoC designs requiring seamless connectivity between AHB masters and AXI slave peripherals across embedded processor, memory controller, and high-performance SoC designs. Fully compliant with the latest AMBA AXI and AHB specifications, it enables AHB masters to access AXI slave resources with configurable data bus widths, address widths, and support for incrementing, wrapping, and fixed burst transfers with narrow transfer support.

Designed for the practical integration requirements of modern mixed AHB/AXI SoC designs, the bridge implements separate state machines for write and read handling and response processing, address and data phase timeout support, and configurable transfer response signal usage. Its clean, production-tested bridge architecture gives SoC integration teams a reliable AHB-to-AXI interface solution that handles the full range of AHB burst types while transparently managing the AXI transaction protocol requirements on the far side.

Built for design flexibility and silicon efficiency, the IP core is highly configurable for both ASIC and FPGA implementations, with a strong focus on area optimization, power management, and peak performance.
