SmartDV’s Ethernet AVB Verification IP is a comprehensive solution for verifying Audio Video Bridging network designs, enabling time-sensitive streaming of audio and video data over bridged IEEE 802.3 Ethernet networks. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.1BA-2021, IEEE 1722-2016, IEEE 802.1AS-2020, and IEEE 802.3-2022, it supports complete verification of AVB endpoint talker and listener functionality across GMII, RGMII, and MII interfaces at Ethernet speeds from 10 Mbps to 400 Gbps, covering all core AVB protocols including gPTP, AVTP, traffic shaping, priority flow control, and precision IEEE 1588 ingress and egress timestamping per port.

SmartDV’s Ethernet AVB VIP supports UVM, SystemVerilog, and Verilog, and integrates seamlessly into diverse verification environments. It is simulator-independent and compatible with all leading EDA simulators, providing flexibility across simulation platforms.
