Overview

SmartDV’s LPDDR6 Controller IP is a specification-compliant, high-performance memory controller solution purpose-built for mobile, automotive, and AI-driven SoCs requiring next-generation bandwidth and power efficiency for LPDDR6 memory devices. Fully compliant with JEDEC JESD209-6 and DFI 6.0 specifications, it delivers industry-leading memory bandwidth and low-latency access with support for device densities up to 64Gb and all LPDDR6 speed grades up to 14,400 MT/s.

Engineered to meet the extreme bandwidth and power demands of AI inference, edge computing, and advanced automotive workloads, the controller delivers a comprehensive LPDDR6 feature set including dual sub-channel architecture support, flexible burst length control (32B/64B), Dynamic Voltage Frequency Scaling for Low Power (DVFSL), and Dynamic Efficiency mode for low-bandwidth use cases. Its QoS-based multi-port arbitration, transaction reordering, and support for up to 16 AXI ports with data widths up to 512 bits ensure optimal throughput across the most demanding concurrent memory access scenarios.

Built for design flexibility and silicon efficiency, the IP core is highly configurable for both ASIC and FPGA implementations, with a strong focus on area optimization, power management, and peak performance. Its parameterized architecture, programmable page policy, and flexible host interface options enable fast integration and confident design bring-up across a wide range of process nodes and target applications.
