I2S/PDM/TDM Controller IP
Design IP
Overview

SmartDV’s I2S/PDM/TDM Controller IP is a silicon-proven, versatile audio interface solution designed for high-fidelity digital audio transmission across a wide range of consumer, automotive, and industrial applications. Supporting Inter-IC Sound (I2S), Pulse Density Modulation (PDM), and Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) protocols, this IP enables seamless integration with various digital microphones, codecs, and DSPs.

Designed for flexibility, the IP core is highly configurable to meet specific design requirements, supporting both ASIC and FPGA implementations while optimizing for area, power, and performance. Its robust architecture supports multiple data formats, configurable word lengths, and clocking schemes, ensuring reliable and efficient audio data handling across complex SoC environments.
