SmartDV’s USB PD Verification IP is designed to verify USB Power Delivery protocols used in USB Type-C ecosystems for flexible power negotiation, role swapping, and alternate mode enablement. Fully compliant with the USB Power Delivery Specification (up to Revision 3.1), this VIP enables accurate validation of PD messaging, source/sink role transitions, Extended Power Range (EPR) up to 240 W, and cable communication.

The VIP supports major verification languages, including SystemVerilog and Verilog, and integrates seamlessly with UVM, OVM, and VMM methodologies. It is simulator-independent and compatible with all leading EDA vendors’ simulators, ensuring broad applicability across simulation environments.
