SmartDV’s CFexpress Verification IP is a comprehensive solution for verifying the CompactFlash Association CFexpress removable media interface, the professional imaging and industrial storage standard combining PCI Express and NVMe into a compact, high-performance removable card form factor for digital cameras, cinema cameras, industrial imaging, and high-performance data acquisition systems. Fully compliant with CFexpress 4.0 (August 2023) and backward compatible with CFexpress 2.0 and 1.0, it supports complete verification of CFexpress Host and Card components across all three defined form factors – Type A (PCIe Gen4 x1, up to 2,000 MB/s), Type B (PCIe Gen4 x2, up to 4,000 MB/s), and Type C (PCIe Gen4 x4, up to 8,000 MB/s) — NVMe 1.4c protocol, Video Performance Guarantee certification requirements, and complete backward compatibility with CFexpress 2.0 hosts.

SmartDV’s CFexpress VIP supports UVM, SystemVerilog, and Verilog, and integrates seamlessly into diverse verification environments. It is simulator-independent and compatible with all leading EDA simulators, providing flexibility across simulation platforms.
