SmartDV’s O-RAN Verification IP is designed to verify open and interoperable interfaces defined by the O-RAN Alliance, enabling the development of disaggregated and virtualized RAN components in 5G and future wireless networks. Fully compliant with O-RAN specifications, this VIP supports the validation of key interfaces such as Fronthaul (Open FH), Control, and Management planes, including support for eCPRI, C/U/M/S-plane protocols, and timing synchronization.

The VIP supports major verification languages, including SystemVerilog and Verilog, and integrates seamlessly with UVM, OVM, and VMM methodologies. It is simulator-independent and compatible with all leading EDA vendors’ simulators, ensuring deployment flexibility across simulation environments.
