Design IP
Overview

SmartDV’s CXP (CoaXPress) Host IP is a high-performance solution designed for machine vision, industrial inspection, and high-speed imaging applications. It supports the CoaXPress standard for reliable, low-latency data transmission over coaxial cables, enabling real-time, high-resolution image capture from multiple cameras in complex systems.

Designed for flexibility, the IP core is highly configurable to meet specific design requirements, supporting both ASIC and FPGA implementations while optimizing for area, power, and performance. It enables seamless integration with CXP-compliant devices and supports scalable link configurations, camera control, and triggering, making it ideal for demanding vision-based systems.
