SmartDV’s USB 3.x OTG (On-The-Go) IP is a silicon-proven, dual-role solution enabling dynamic switching between host and device modes for high-performance mobile, automotive, and embedded applications. Fully compliant with USB 3.1, USB 3.2, and the USB OTG supplement, it supports SuperSpeed (5 Gbps) and SuperSpeed+ (10 Gbps) operation with backward compatibility to USB 2.0.

Designed for flexibility, the IP core is highly configurable to meet specific design requirements, supporting both ASIC and FPGA implementations while optimizing for area, power, and performance. The IP includes built-in support for HNP (Host Negotiation Protocol), SRP (Session Request Protocol), link power management, and a standard PIPE interface, delivering seamless dual-role functionality across diverse platforms.
