Overview

SmartDV’s DisplayPort 1.x Transmitter IP is a silicon-proven solution designed to deliver high-performance, high-resolution video and audio output for next-generation display and multimedia systems. Fully compliant with DisplayPort 1.2 and 1.4 specifications, it supports key features such as multi-stream transport (MST), auxiliary channel communication, HDCP 1.3/2.2 content protection, Display Stream Compression (DSC), and Forward Error Correction (FEC) for robust and efficient data transmission.

Designed for flexibility, the IP core is highly configurable to meet specific design requirements, supporting both ASIC and FPGA implementations while optimizing for area, power, and performance. Optimized for use in a wide range of applications—including graphics cards, laptops, tablets, docking stations, AR/VR devices, automotive systems, and embedded video sources, the IP core enables seamless connectivity to high-resolution displays with minimal system overhead.
